Confectionery Innovations develops a custom product line concept for your brand based on our feasibility Study. The product line is exclusive for your brand. Confectionery Innovations will execute the R&D with the manufacturer. It is your brand so our client decides on one of three options for the manufacturer:- Domestic contract manufacturer
- Overseas contract manufacturer
- Clients facility
- Contract manufacturers division:
Confectionery Innovations develops a product line in the contract manufacturer facility. After the R&D is complete the contract manufacturer decides on one of three options:- Contract manufacturer takes the product line to market.
- Confectionery Innovations will secure a well-establish third party company who will take the product line to market and become the direct customer of the contract manufacturer.
- Confectionery Innovations will secure private label business for the contract manufacturer.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING EXPERIENCE
Confectionery Innovations was founded by twenty year industry veteran Glenn Schneider. Glenn was previously co-founder and co-owner of S&S Candies/OverLoad Peanut Butter Cups. Glenn's line extension and brand management experience includes successfully partnering with Nestle® Foods for fifteen years. Our custom designed innovative line extensions of Brownies and Peanut Butter Cups provided consumers new ways to enjoy Nestle® brands in different forms. During the same period, Glenn successfully negotiated an agreement with Mars, Inc. to feature Mars top Confectionery brands on our Brownies and Peanut Butter Cups.
The Ultimate Brownie was a gourmet Belgian Chocolate Brownie with a whole "fun size" candy bar baked Into the brownies core. The technology developed on this project allowed for the baking of the whole "fun size" candy bar into the Brownie while the candy bar retained its original consistency, taste and quality. The product was priced as a gourmet item. At the same time we strategically manufactured and marketed The Ultimate Brownie line through a national bakery manufacturer with candy pieces on top as a lower price point line extension in order to maximize revenue. The product line was very successful with distribution in almost 50,000 retailers.
OverLoad Peanut Butter Cups was strategically designed to compete directly against Reese's® Peanut Butter Cups. We utilized every available competitive advantage at our disposal. We featuring Nestle® Milk Chocolate and Skippy® brand Peanut Butter for our Peanut Butter Cup. We topped the Cups with the worlds most famous branded Confections and Cookies. The technology developed on this project allowed for the automated placement of whole cookies as well as various sized candies onto the top of the Peanut Butter Cups. Due to the enormous success of OverLoad we created a line extension with OverLoad Nestle® co-branded with Campfire® S'moores Marshmallow.
OverLoad was sold in the majority of convenience store chains plan-o-grams including 7-Eleven, Circle K, QuikTrip, WAWA, Sheetz, Casey's General Stores, ExxonMobil, The Pantry, Stewart's Ice Cream, Maverick Country Stores, Sunoco, Shell Oil, RaceTrac Petroleum, Flying J.Additional retailers included: Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreen's, CVS, Toys R Us, Blockbuster Video, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Kroger, A&P, Albertson's, Classes of trade Included: C-Stores, Mass Merchandisers, Grocery Chains, Video & Toy Store Chains, Dollar Chains, Party & Card Chains, Music Chains, Drug Chains, Gas Station/Kiosk, Military and Cash & Carry
Glenn participated in all facets of the companies' day to day operations for the The Ultimate Brownie and OverLoad Peanut Butter Cup brands. Responsibilities included product development, brand management, manufacturer procurement and maintenance, packaging analysis and procurement, licensing negotiations and maintenance, marketing, direct sales to national accounts, packaging design, AP & AR management, developing retailer rebate and slotting programs, national broker network management, and warehouse and frozen, refrigerated and dry logistics management.
